It was only a month ago that the Samsung Galaxy S2 was globally released. It now comes to Samsung’s mind that the competition is heating up as Apple’s highly anticipated iPhone 5, is to be launched in September, this year.
According to the Pop Herald, a few undisclosed sources across Asia have rumored that the successor to the current Samsung Galaxy S2 is already on its way.
Hyped as the Samsung Galaxy S2 Plus, the device is speculated to house the following technical specifications:
- Sources living in Asia leaked that Samsung would remove the Galaxy Branding and follow a completely different system of naming.
- 1.4 GHz dual-core processor
- 1 GB RAM
- Android 2.3.4 with Samsung’s popular TouchWiz UI and Google Talk with Video Support.
- Rumored Release Date: August / September.
